Thomas F. Scott, Jr., 76, of Las Vegas, passed away Oct. 10, 2011. He was born March 8, 1935 in Malad, Idaho. He served in the U.S. Army. A retired plumber, he loved a good poker game. Tom wore a big smile and had a kind, generous and loving heart. He made a wonderful difference in many lives and will be remembered and missed by many. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Joey; and his brother, Earl. He is survived by his wife, Linda Scott; daughter, Anita M. (Karen Michael) Scott; son, Mitchell (Abbey) Scott; and grandchildren Bradly, Thomas, Conner, Justine, and Kiani. Graveside services are 8 a.m., Friday, Oct. 14, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City.
