He is unconditionally loved and survived by his sister, Clara Liu; mother, Eva Liu; grandparents, Shao Ping Lei and Zhang Yue Lei; aunt and uncle, Jenny Lei and Kent Lei; and cousins, Eric Lei, and Bonnie Lei.
Victor was an old soul, wise beyond his years in compassion and kindness, always ready with the best advice. He was the kind of person who would save up extra money just to make sure his friends could share in experiences with him. Loyal and dependable, Victor always went the extra mile for the people he loved.
A brilliant mind, Victor graduated as valedictorian of his high school and later magna cum laude in computer science from the UNLV School of Engineering. His high school mentor, Mr. Agustin, once said, 'Victor is going to change the world.' He was so right—we just wish there had been more time.
Outside of academics, Victor was logged onto discord as Dankus, a sharp gaming strategist who spent a mythical 1,912 hours on Team Fortress 2, plus Lethal Company, Repo, Baldur’s Gate, Left for Dead 2, and more. He was also an avid anime fan, lover of Dragon Ball Z, Bleach, and Jujutsu Kaisen. His recent trip to Japan was one of the happiest moments of his life. Just as much, he was PEAKING on the dance floor, lost in the music of Kaskade, Acraze, Le Youth, and Deadmau, surrounded by amazing friends and unforgettable drops.
Victor was our greatest friend, kindest soul, and coolest gamer. He was unconditionally loved and never alone. We will honor his legacy by doing good deeds in his name.
A visitation for Victor will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
