Walter Drews was a wonderful big-hearted man who loved to laugh.   His many varied interests included knife collecting, a love of firearms, hunting, playing cards and watching wrestling  He also loved going on cruises and taking road trips with his second wife.  However, the driving force is his life was always his loved ones.  
He loved his first wife, Arlene, very much.  He and Arlene had one daughter, Christina.  Walt was devoted to both of them and he and Lee had many years together.  Walt was devastated when Arlene passed away after her battle with cancer.
Walt was an only child, but through his marriage to Arlene he gained three brothers-in-law as well as their wives and eventually, their children.  He remained close to Arlene’s relatives throughout their lives.  
He was a good friend to many but had several long-time friends he always kept in touch with.  His friendships with Barbara, Winnie, Nick, Vinnie, Juan and Frank meant a lot to Walt.  
Walt eventually met Bev Upham, who would become his second wife.  Walt and Bev enjoyed   17 happy years together.  Their partnership was strong and important to both of them.  Together they healed from the passing of each of their first spouses, found joy and had many happy memories.  He and Bev were together at the time of Walt’s death
Through his marriage to Bev, Walt gained a Stepson, Charles and Stepdaughter Renae, along with their spouses.  He also gained 3 Step-grandchildren, and 2 Step-great-grandchildren.
Fortunately, his family from Arlene held a reunion in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2019.  Walt and Bev enjoyed a wonderful time with Walt’s Brother-in Law; Robert along with his wife Joanne, as well as his nephew Douglas and his wife Linda and another nephew, Steve.  
Walt is survived by his daughter, Tina, his second wife, Bev, nephews Steve & Douglas Tingwall, as well as his Stepchildren, Step-grandchildren and Step-great grandchildren.

Walt will be greatly missed, thought of often, and remembered always,
