William "Bill" Emerson Altman, 75, of Las Vegas, Nevada lost his fight with cancer and passed away at home on November 4, 2015. Bill was born to William M. and A. Eileen Joyner Altman in Mooresville, Indiana on July 2, 1940. He graduated with honors from Mooresville High School and continued on to receive a business degree from Indiana University in 1962. He was a gifted four-sport letterman in high school and still holds the school record for most points (54) scored in a single basketball game. His basketball statistics are also in the top ten of nine other categories. While attending IU, he was a member of the 1959-1962 "Hurryin' Hoosiers". Bill is survived by his wife Lorraine; siblings, John (Ella) Altman, Sandy (Bill) Knapp, Pat (Jim) Haworth; children, Lori Altman, Scott Altman, and Kristina (Chris) Corbin; numerous nieces and nephews, five grandchildren, and other relatives.
