I was a Field Relief Adjuster for CSAA until my early retirement with the company’s first downsizing. I just found out about Bill’s passing.  He was a wonderful Division Claims Manager, he was a kind hearted person, who genuinely cared about the employees that worked in his regional offices.  
A family man that adored his wife, children, family and friends.  He made it known how proud he was of them all.
He would talk to all employees on the same level, every employee was treated equally and professionally.
I was fortunate enough to have worked in his region  quite a bit and I learned a great deal from him.  My last 9 months with CSAA, I worked in the Las Vegas Office.  It was my honor and a privilege to have worked with such an amazing and incredible human being.
The world was better having him in it.  He made a difference to so many.
I know the loss is felt every day to family and friends.

I first met Bill in 1975, although Rick had known Bill & Kathy for many years. The four of us did so many things together and our family was included in so many of their family get togethers. We visited Bill & Kathy often in Reno and they would always show us around their town. We would attend Hot August Nights events as well as Street Vibrations and when we rode our motorcycles to Virginia City they sometimes would drive there and spend the time with us. We saw hot air balloon races with them and so many concerts. Bill & Kathy were always the ultimate hosts. Before they even moved to Las Vegas, we would attend NASCAR races with them there. We would visit them on trips to Las Vegas and in turn they would make “potty stops” at our house when they were in the area.

We will miss you so very much Bill. Rest In Peace.

I didn't know Bill well..but worked with his wife Kathy in Reno NV. Rest in peace, Bill... Know you are in a better place and out of any pain! 


I had the opportunity to work with Bill early on in my career.  He was pragmatic, personable and was very well respected as a leader of the organization.  I was also lucky enough to have spent time with him outside of work.  Again, a great father and role model for all of us.  Rest in peace Bill and thanks for everything.

Bill was my boss and mentor at AAA for many years.  He was unquestionably the best leader of people I ever had in 31 years of service.  My condolences to the family and I cherish Bill's memory.  With Bill's help my wife, four children, and I would of never had such a plentiful life.

To the Family of Billy Jack White I am so sorry for your loss.  My heart is broken with the loss of Billy Jack.  He was my Dad's long time friend and my friend too.  He helped me with my AAA auto accident and also got me a job with CSAA during the mid 1990s.  Since learning of his death racing memories are constantly running through my mind of the last few years we the Barbano family saw Him and his Beloved wife Kathy visiting us here in San Leandro or us Mom and I visiting them in Las Vegas.  I loved him dearly more than a friend.  It upsets me to know he is no longer here with all of us.  I can't believe he died not reaching his 80s.  Again to the Family I am so sorry for your loss.  I miss him dearly just to see him one more time.  Today Kathy called and she heard me crying over the phone and told me Billy Jack loved me dearly.  To hear her words affirms I knew Billy Jack and I had something more than friendship because it meant so much to me to hear her words.  I wish I could attend the services but Mom and I are too far away.  My last photo of all of us together was September 18 2019 in Las Vegas.  Why does the time have to fly so fast.
