Donald Ray Haislip, age 61, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Friday, January 2nd, 2026 at his home in Lawrenceburg. Donald was born on October 8th, 1964 to the late Thomas Jefferson Haislip and Blanche Viola Haislip in Ripley, TN. Donald worked for many years for Coca-Cola in Memphis, TN before retiring in the early 2000’s. In his free time, he enjoyed participating in civil war reenactments, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his loving family and friends. He was a member of Shiloh Methodist Church in Somerville, TN.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Rita Haislip; son, William Haislip; brother, Bobby Davis (Jan); nieces, Diana Sorrell (Jonathon), Blair Maples (Steve), Wendy Treadway, and Judy Sullivan (Barry); nephews, Daniel Russell (Jamie) and BJ Davis (Ashley); adopted grandchildren, Ashton Hix and Aiden Hix; beloved canine companions, Rusty and Kisses.
The graveside service for Mr. Donald Ray Haislip will be held at Gum Springs Cemetery on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Brother Chad Clanton will be officiating.
