Edith Brown Dixon

Mrs. Edith Brown Dixon, age 88 of Waynesboro, TN passed away on October 16, 2016 at her residence. She was a native of Wayne County, TN; retired factory worker at Mallory & Henry I. Siegel Mfg. Co. and a homemaker. She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, William Thomas Dixon and wife, Melba of Waynesboro, TN; one daughter, Sharon K. McWilliams and husband Jay McWilliams of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, William Thomas Dixon Jr. (Tina); Robert “Bobby” Allen Dixon (Jami); Jason McWilliams; Jennifer Vaughn (Bill); two great-grandchildren, Adam & Hannah Vaughn; several step-grand & great-grandchildren; one brother, Chester of Ohio; one sister, Katie Perry of Waynesboro, TN; several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Dixon; parents, Frank and Hettie Stockard Brown; two brothers, Walter & Edd Brown; two sisters, Naomi Walker and Elizabeth Brown.

Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 2 pm with Danny Huckaba officiating and interment in the Gallaher Cemetery in Wayne County, TN.

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo, Saturday, October 18, 2014 10 am ~ 2 pm.
