Mr. James Dunn Crowder, age 80 of Lawrenceburg passed away on June 9, 2016 at his residence. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, retired LT in the U.S. Navy and retired also from Lawrence County High School as a teacher.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Elizabeth Lanning Crowder of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Kenneth Alan “Ken” Crowder and wife, Linda of Lewisburg, TN; two daughters, Karen Annette Crowder of Nashville, TN and Caroline Crowder Mapes and husband Tritt of Hernando, MS; six grandchildren, Schuyler Floyd, Caitlin Crowder, Dunn Crowder, Cooper Mapes, Keegan Mapes and Mackenzie Mapes.
Memorial Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Monday, June 13, 2016 at 1 pm with Jonathan Weathers officiating and interment in Mimosa Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo, Monday, June 13, 2016, 11 am ~ 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Lawrence County High School Athletic Fund.
