Evelyn Oaks age 81 of Ethridge died Friday, July 13, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Davidson County and a life long resident of Lawrence County and a member of Ethridge United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband Herman Oaks Jr. of Ethridge; one son Roger Oaks of Huntsville, AL; one daughter Yvonne Campbell of Ethridge; six (6) grand children and twelve (12) great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Taylor Marston and Hattie Williams Marston.
Funeral service will be 1pm Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel with Bobby Gobbell and JD Bosheers officiating and interment in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 4pm ~ 8pm Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home.
