Carlos Ernesto Garcia, 61, passed away suddenly on November 28th, 2021 at his residence. He loved to spend time with his grandkids, was an avid welder, and loved building model airplanes. He was a wonderful devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all.
He was born in Eagle Pass but was raised in Del Rio. He participated in JROTC during his high school years. He attended Texas State Technical College in Waco, and graduated with an Associates Degree in Aviation Mechanics. He worked for Morrison Supply Company for 18 years. At the time of his death, he was employed with Leander Independent School District.
He was preceded by death by his father, Hermilo Garcia, and survived by his loving wife, Lulu, his mother Gloria, his sister Lisa (Manny), son Gunner (Macy), and his grandchildren Hudson, Emersyn, Nash, and Kane. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Carlos’s favorite charity, “Dream a Dream Therapeutic Horsemanship”.
