David Michael Lawless

David Michael Lawless was born December 24, 1949 in Houston, Texas. He passed from this life June 1, 2023 in Leander, Texas, at the age of 73 years. David grew up in the Houston area, where he met Jennifer Schulze on a high school blind date. The two attended college at Texas State in San Marcos and were married on March 21, 1971. David graduated with a Bachelor degree in Business and Accounting. In 1980 he and Jennifer moved to the Austin area and started their family. He owned and operated Right Transportation, a logistics company, since 1985. David enjoyed spending time with his family, kayaking, fishing, cycling and working outside. He also enjoyed snow skiing and would travel with a group of friends to different places each year to ski. David was a devout Christian and attended Shoreline Church. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force Reserve.

David was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jennifer Lawless; daughters Rebekah Salinas and husband Jonathan and Linsey Lawless; grandchildren, Raiden Salinas, Ryken Salinas and Emberlee Salinas; brother, Tom Lawless; sister, Jean Lawless and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial will be held at Anderson Mill Garden Club and Museum, 13974 FM2769, Volente, Texas on June 24th, at 11:00 AM
