Freddy was a longtime resident of the Austin area, Longhorn fan, Army veteran, union carpenter, and master stone carver. His architectural craftsmanship can be found all over Austin and internationally. Freddy loved to play the drums and toured with several bands in the late 70’s. His bright smile and humble demeanor opened many doors and were a pleasure to all who met him. His kids and grandkids were the light of his life and his greatest treasure.
Freddy is preceded in death by his father, Roy Mac “R.M.” Reagan and his mother, Wilma Fern (Henry) Reagan; brother in law, Alan Gardner; grandparents Vader and Pocahontas (Wise) Henry, Roy Mack and Orie Audie (Goodman) Reagan; uncles, Ernest Henry, James Henry, Floyd Henry, Charles Reagan, Jackie Reagan, and Raymond Reagan; aunts, Inez Reagan, Betty Ferguson, Marie Kirkland, and Lucy Capp.
Freddy is survived by his two children, Cory Reagan Tschoerner (Eric) and Freddie Mac Reagan Jr. He is also survived by his Uncle Ralph Henry; sisters, Noma (Howard) Meeker, Terri Gardner, and Vickie Bartone (Hollie Speed), and brother Ronnie (Susan) Reagan; his four grandchildren, Haylee Reagan, Ethan Tschoerner, Patrick Tschoerner, and Sunnie Reagan; his ex-wife Brenda (Hunt) Armistead, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends throughout Texas, Arkansas, and Florida.
The Reagan family would like to extend a special thank you to his friend and neighbor Hope Perry and family, Dr. Surapaneni, Dr. Fisher, and the staff at Baylor Scott & White Cancer Center.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 6th, from 5-7 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home in Leander, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M on Tuesday, September 7th at Liberty Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Freddie Reagan Jr, Ethan Tschoerner, Ryan Elwess, Josh Vincik, John Michael Escobar, Kegan Perry, Jayden Rice, and Darian Rice.
