Richard Newton Hearn passed away peacefully at his home in Leander, Texas at age 96 on March 20, 2022. He was born in 1925 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. He was a lifelong Michigan resident until his relocation to Texas in 2011. He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy, in 2010. .He is survived by his son, daughter, granddaughters and great-grandson.
Richard served in WWII from 1943-1946 in Naval electronics. He joined Burroughs Corporation in 1955, retiring in 1981 after 26 years.
