Susan Scott Williams

Susan Scott Williams was born on January 21, 1943 in Louisville, KY to Frances and John Scott. She married James Williams in Richmond, Texas on August 25, 1958 and received her LVN license. Susan and James moved to Austin, Texas in 1969 where she received her administrator license. She started working as the administrator of Retirement Nursing Center for 10 years until she became part owner of Retirement Nursing Center until she retired in 1984.

She was preceded in death by one son, Curtis Williams and one sister, Martha Scott Battle.

Survivors include her husband, James Williams. Two sons, Richard Williams and wife Karen of Round Rock, Texas and Ronald Williams of Round Rock, Texas; one daughter Connie and husband Alan Carey of Round Rock, Texas; one sister, Robin Scott of Austin, Texas; one sister-in-law Dorothy Williams of Round Rock, Texas; one niece, Cheryl Hamilton of Colorado Springs, Colorado; four nephews; one cousin; seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Dustin, Ryan, Daniel, Kinette, Katrina and Jeremy; and five great-grandchildren, Colt, LuLu, Hayden, Julie and Kel.

A private graveside service will be held on September 17, 2020. In lieu of flowers, we ask to please donate to American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice in Susan’s name.
