

Amelia F. Blake, 71, of Lebanon and a former long term resident of Richland died Saturday, April 2, 2011 in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital after a courageous battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer. She was the wife of the late Chester T. “Ted” Blake Jr. who passed away in 1987. She was born in Coaldale, PA on June 19, 1939, daughter of the late John J. and Martha Cool Pollock Sr. She was a retired bank teller at the former Wachovia Bank in Richland and a member of the Richland Ladies Aux. Amelia was an avid reader who loved gardening, arts and crafts and spending time out-doors. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her children: Guy R. Blake and his fiancée Alice, Holtwood, PA; Glenn E. Blake and his wife Joann, Westminster, SC; Gail E. wife of Steve Hocking, Annapolis, MD; Gary T. Blake, Lebanon; Greg W. Blake and his wife Norma, Rehoboth Beach DE; 8 grandchildren; sisters: Ann Pace, Linwood, PA; June Willing, Lansford, PA and sister-in-law Judy Pollock, SC. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brother CMSgt. John Pollock Jr. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon , PA where a visitation will begin at 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be made in Richland Cemetery.
