Brenda Shepler

Brenda M. Shepler, 67, Lebanon, died Friday August 20, 2010 in the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Howard Shepler. She was born in Elizabethtown on June 26, 1943 a daughter of the late Elbert and Martha McCorkle Meyerhoffer. She was a member of St. Luke’s U. M. Church where she enjoyed meeting for dinner with fellow widows of the church. She was a foster parent for the Lebanon County Children & Youth for over 30 years and she enjoyed gardening. She is survived by a daughter: Debbie S. Shepler and long-time companion: Ronald Frantz, Lebanon; foster-daughter: Denise A. Cook and fiancé: Doug Noggle, Annville; granddaughters: Rachel Etzweiler, Briana Shepler and Isabella Shepler; brothers: Robert, Bruce, Bernie, Ray, Harvey and Gary Meyerhoffer; also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son: Michael Shepler. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11:00 A.M. in St. Luke’s U. M. Church, 2327 Lehman St., Lebanon, where a viewing will be held beginning at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be made in Zion “Goshert’s” Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lebanon County Foster Parents’ Association. The Rohland Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
