Bruce E. Douple, 74, Lebanon, passed away on Thursday March 31, 2022 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Lebanon on May 25, 1947, a son of the late Walter and Esther Eck Douple. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and had been employed by Cleaver Brooks for many years. Bruce was a life member of the Liberty Marching Club and was a member of many other social clubs in Lebanon. He was a member of the Brandywine Rod and Gun Club and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bruce also spent many summers at the Tuckahoe Acres Camping Resort. He is survived by sons: Brad and wife Bobbi Douple; Scott and wife Kristin Douple; grandchildren: Austin and wife Skyanne Douple; Josh and wife Emily Glant; Taylor Douple; great grandchildren: Grayson and Harper; sister: Barbara “Babs” wife of Ned Pantelich. He is also survived by a long-time companion: Louise Vasile. Memorial services will be held on Friday at 1:00pm in the Rohland Funeral Home 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 with a visitation beginning at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
