Carl Edward Snyder

Carl Edward Snyder, 78, of Georgetown, DE and formerly of Lebanon, PA, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016. He was born on July 29th, 1938 in Lebanon, a son of the late Robert and Elsie Snyder. Carl was the husband of Sarahann Billingham Snyder. Mr. Snyder was retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania where he was a Systems Analyst. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the American Legion Post 28, Delaware and AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association). He was a former member of St. Mary’s Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Lebanon. Surviving in addition to his wife is his son: Richard A, husband of Linda Snyder, Annville; grandchildren: Robert Snyder of Cleona and Joshua Snyder of Hummelstown; great granddaughter: Skylar Snyder of Cleona; sister: Dorothy Kopanda of Hammond, Indiana; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc, 508 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA, 17042 on Friday, September 9th, 2016 at 2:00PM with a viewing from 1:00PM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
