Catherine E Beaton

Catherine E. Beaton, 63, of Palmyra went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 14, 2012. She was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away in the Hershey Medical Center. She was born in Lebanon, PA on September 10, 1948, daughter of the late Charles and Sylvia Epler Steiner. She attended Lebanon High School and was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Cleona. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a devoted foster parent for many years. Catherine enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter: Bonnie Johnston, Middletown; grandsons: Devan Coomer and girlfriend Angela, Mechanicsburg; Dillon Brinkerhoff, Middletown; Darien Johnston, Middletown; brothers: Lewis Sowers and wife Emma, Hummelstown; Harold Steiner and wife Jean, Palmyra; Lester Steiner and wife Lucy, Lebanon; Paul Steiner, Lebanon; Wayne Steiner and wife Judith, Lebanon; sisters: Sarah Moyer, Lebanon; Sylvia wife of Boyd Felty, Lebanon; Anna Kapp, Lebanon and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Charles, Harry, Allen, Richard and Edward Steiner. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 PM in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM where a viewing will begin one hour prior to the service in the funeral home with Rev. I. Ray Kline and Rev. Dale Landis officiating. Interment will be made in Covenant Greenwood Cemetery, Lebanon.
