Dorothy H. Parks, 87, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday, January 31, 2015 in Stone Ridge Poplar Run, Myerstown, PA. She was born in Lebanon on September 19, 1927, a daughter of the late Russell and Nora E. Miller Hoffa. Dorothy was employed for 35 years with Bell Telephone in the customer service department. She was a member of the Hebron United Methodist Church in Lebanon where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed her retirement and especially loved to travel. Dorothy was a loving mother and a googd and caring friend. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda J. wife of Brian Royer of Lebanon; brother, Donald husband of Sally Hoffa of Myerstown; Joan wife of John O’Hara of Myerstown. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brett L. Royer. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 6th at 10:30 AM in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St. Lebanon with a visitation beginning on Friday at 9:30 AM. No Viewing. Interment will be made in the Covenant Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hebron United Methodist Church, 451 Walnut St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
