Eleanor Raisner Roberts

Eleanor Raisner Roberts, 82 of Lebanon, passed away in WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital on Thursday, March 29, 2018. She was born in New Britain, PA on March 5, 1936, a daughter of the late John H. and Mary Terrell Raisner. Eleanor was the wife of the late Rev. John Nelson Roberts Sr. who passed away November 19, 2014. Mrs. Roberts was a retired teacher from Upper Darby and Lebanon County School Districts; Piano Teacher and Pastors wife. She was an organist and avid reader. She was a member of the Annville United Methodist Church and U.M. Women’s Group. Surviving are her three children: Mary E. Kelly of Philadelphia; John Nelson Jr., husband of Patricia Dixon Roberts, Lebanon and Andrew Harold Jones, husband of Kathleen Broidy Roberts, Mt. Gretna; eight grandchildren: Laura, wife of Wil Robinson; Stefanie, wife of Greg Masi; Laura Ashley Roberts; Brianna Roberts; Nicole Roberts; Daniel, husband of Donna Dixon; David Dixon and Dustin, husband of Candee Dixon; four great grandchildren: Natalie and Evangeline Dixon; Wil Robinson and Aris Masi; three brothers: Rev. Thomas, husband of Thekla Raisner, N.Y; Charles Raisner of Virginia; Christian Raisner of California; sister: Mary Sue, wife of Rev. Herb Mather, TN; several nieces and nephews. Eleanor was predeceased by her son in law Joseph Kelly. A funeral service will be held in the Annville United Methodist Church, 1 N. College Ave., Annville, PA., 17003 on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00AM with a viewing from 10:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Covenant Greenwood Cemetery.
