Eugene Ray Brown, 82, of Lebanon, passed away in Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016. He was born on June 22nd, 1934 in Bethel PA, a son of the late Ralph B. and Verna A Gundrum Brown. Eugene was the husband of Lois J. Merkey Brown. Mr. Brown was employed by Bethlehem Steel and Millard Quarry. He was a member of the Weavertown R Field and Stream and Midway Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Rick E. Brown; Bonnie L, wife of Gary J. Peffley all of Lebanon and Susan K, wife of Michael D. Long, Cleona; grandchildren: Ricky Brown Jr.; Rose Marie Brown; Joshua Peffley; Katie Long and Erin Long; great grandchildren: Cody; Sasha; Iziah; sister: Jeanette Stoudt of Myerstown; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held in Midway Church, 13 Evergreen Rd, Lebanon, PA, 17042 on Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 at 11:00AM with a visitation from 10:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Contributions may be made in Eugene’s memory to his church.
