Janet I. Miller

1934 – 2025

Janet Ida (Lengel, Klinger) Miller, 91, of Lebanon, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at home, surrounded by her family. The daughter of William R and Lula I (Zimmerman) Lengel, she was born March 13, 1934, in Pine Grove Twp. PA. Janet was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Lebanon.

She graduated from Pine Grove High School, Class of 1951 and was a graduate of Philadelphia Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing,Class of 1954. Janet worked at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon and retired after 30 years of service. She then worked at many area nursing homes in the Lebanon, Cleona, and Annville area.

Surviving are her four children, Patricia Rusnak (Joseph) of Frackville, Pa; Thomas Klinger of Unionville, VA; Janet M Klinger and Sharon S Klinger of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Patricia A Weckle of Pine Grove; Sandra S Kelley of Sand Coulee, MT; brother William R Lengel of Lincoln, NE and numerous nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William Klinger, April 19, 1971; her second husband, Reuben Miller,

November 11, 2016; her daughter in law, Jean Klinger, November 8, 2021 and her sister, Gertrude M. Pezzoni , April 11, 2025.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00 at the St. Peters Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pine Grove, Pa with Pastor Sally Gausmann officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
