On April 18th 2026 Our beloved John “Fuzz” Farling made his way home to be with our Lord and Savior. He spent his last days peacefully at Carolyn’s House Hospice with many friends and family comforting him along the way. John was born in Lebanon March 17,1940 to Ida Roth and John Farling. Many siblings have preceded him on his walk on the heavenly stairway along with a granddaughter Chelsea C. Walker, a son-in-law David M. Walker and lifelong friend Margaret Rhoads. He is survived by loyal fur friend Buster Farling; Daughters: Tina M. Farling, Lori A. Walker Connie S. Farling and a son Douglas (wife Jamie) Hollenbach, 2 granddaughters Roxann N. Walker and Addison Hollenbach along with numerous “extended” family as well. He loved them all. He worked at the Lebanon Paper Box factory as a shipping clerk until their closing and worked at the Hershey Lodge in stewarding until retirement. Fuzz enjoyed cooking for the Neversink social hall in his younger years along with doing the “famous” Neversink chicken bbques with life long pals “Popeye”, Nutter and Eddie T. He was known for making a “mean” club sandwich and would offer and did make them for many a friend an family alike. Fuzz had a passion for all kinds of music. He loved all the Local festivals with St. Pauls being his favorite because he had to have the “Annville” sausage sandwich. He especially enjoyed his trips to the “Sunfest” in OC Maryland with his favorite beach trip sidekick “Teen bean” his daughter. He loved everyone with his whole heart. May he rest in peace and gain his wings. In lieu of flowers please send all contributions to the beautiful “Carolyns House” Hospice 1701 Linglestown Rd. Harrisburg, PA., 17110.
