Josiah Paul Matthew

Josiah P. Matthew, 23, of Manheim, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 while attending the University at Buffalo in New York. He was born in Lancaster on July 15, 1992. He is the son of Harry Jr. and Tina McCue Matthew of Manheim. After being home schooled Joe graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in Chemistry. Joe was pursuing Medicinal Chemistry at UB. Joe loved the outdoors both hunting and fishing. He especially liked baseball and was an avid Phillies fan. Joe loved to serve the Lord and was often involved in Youth work. He is survived by brother Jared, husband of Emily, of Mound MN, sisters Kelly of Greer, S.C. and Lisa Mayfield, wife of Jeffrey, of Greenville S.C. Services for Josiah will be held Monday April 18 at First Baptist Church, 20 Linden Road, Lebanon, PA 17042. A viewing will be held at 9:00 AM followed by the service at 11:00.
