Julie Paige Schlegel, 9, went to God’s arms on Sunday September 13, 2015. She was born on June 3, 2006. She is survived by her father: Gregory R. Schlegel, Palmyra; mother: Elizabeth A. Kreitzer Schlegel Hejna wife of David Hejna, Hanover; sister: Payton Hejna; grandparents: Rebecca Kreitzer, Lebanon; Gary and Joni Schlegel, Palmyra; uncle: Chris Schlegel, Palmyra and aunt: Catherine Stalnecker Spaulding wife of Cory Spaulding, New Castle and a large extended family. Julie changed many lives in her 9 years and her protector and companion dog Maddie took the Cold for a Cause plunge to help Julie as the 2011/2012 DDS Ambassador. The family wants to thank all who made Julie’s life comfortable and full of experiences. They also wish that in lieu of flowers, those who wish should consider a gift of time or money to a favorite children’s charity in Julie’s memory. Services will be held at a later date.
