Patricia A. Tyson

Patricia A. Tyson, 80, died Friday, July 19, 2013 in Cedar Haven. She was born in Lebanon on August 5, 1932, a daughter of the late Harry P. and Martha Funk Troy. She was employed for many years as cashier and front end manager of Shopper’s Food Warehouse in Maryland. She was a member of the Tabor United Church of Christ, where she was involved in the Gardenia Class and served on the church council. Pat served as a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Hospital with over 2000 volunteer hours. She also enjoyed writing and reading. She is survived by children, Ronald husband of Nancy Tyson of Wellsboro; Jeffrey husband of Arlene Tyson of NJ; Buffy wife of John Halter, GA; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Leo husband of Lois Troy of Lebanon; sister, Jane wife of Anthony Fancovice of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert David Tyson. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 PM in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon with a viewing beginning on Wednesday at 12:30 PM. Interment will be made in the Kochenderfer’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P. O. Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.
