Sandra Ann Whitman

Sandra A. Whitman, 77, Lebanon, passed away on Friday June 27, 2025 in Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late Lawrence R. Whitman. Sandy was born in Myerstown on November 15, 1947, a daughter of the late Theodore W. and Elizabeth J. Manderbach Allwein. She had been employed by several local garment employers for many years. Sandy loved playing bingo. She was a competitor at heart who enjoyed playing any type of board games and doing puzzles. She enjoyed playing card games like pinochle, blitz and poker. She was a fan of BBQ chicken and, when not playing bingo, could be found watching her favorite television shows on the Hallmark Channel or the Game Show Network unless she could find the Andy Griffith show to watch. Sandy is survived by daughters; Michelle L. Allwein and her companion Michael B. Geist; Lori wife of Brad Seyfert; grandchildren: Matthew J. Pete, Alexander L. Pete, Taten D. Seyfert, Lawson R. Seyfert; siblings: Linda L. wife of Keith Uhrich, Constance M. wife of Malcolm Stephens, Bonita L. McCurdy, David W. Allwein, Ramona L. Allwein; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son: Lawrence R. Whitman,Jr. ; brothers: Robert T. Allwein and Richard A. Allwein. Graveside services will be held in Kimmerlings Cemetery on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM. all are to meet at the Cemetery.
