Walter Edward "Eddie" Shirey, IV, 35, of Lebanon, sadly passed away at a place he loved in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. He was born in Lebanon on December 2, 1979. He loved the outdoors, hiking the Appalachian Trail and was a musician. Eddie is survived by father, Walter Edward Shirey, III and his wife Caterina Shirey of Lebanon; mother, Kim Marie Garloff Dugan and her husband James Dugan of Wernersville; children, Wesley Shirey and his mother, Amy Shaak; twin daughters, MaKayla Marie Shirey and MeKenzie Ann Shirey and their mother, Kimberly Dow of FL; grandparents, Walter Edward Shirey, Jr. and wife Margaret of Lebanon; grandfather, Mert Garloff of Lebanon; brothers, Christopher Shirey, Jordan Shirey and their mother, Elaine Althouse and other brothers, James Dugan, Jr. and Stephen Dugan. A gathering of Eddie’s family and friends will take place in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon on Sunday, April 26th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
