William C. Becker

William C. Becker, 80, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, January 28th, 2015 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born on November 12th, 1934 in Lebanon, a son of the late William C. Sr. and Ivy E. Wolf Becker. William was the husband of Nancy Kirkessner Becker. They were married May 21st, 1960, and spent 54 wonderful years together. Mr. Becker was a retired Journeyman Machinist with the Bethlehem Steel Co. After retiring from Bethlehem Steel he continued working part–time at various jobs. For the last 15 years he was employed by the Lebanon Daily News.

He was a graduate of Cornwall High School Class of 1952. He enjoyed golfing and traveling with his wife to all 50 States and Europe. He was a member of the Lebanon Elks Lodge #631, and Salem Lutheran Church, Lebanon, and a former member of the Lebanon Polka Pals.

Surviving in addition to his wife is his daughter: Sherri Prinsen of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren: Sean, Taylore and Joseph Prinsen, all of Colorado Springs, CO. A funeral service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc., 508 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA, 17042 on Monday, February 2nd, 2015 at 11:00AM with his pastor, Rev. Robert B. Ierien officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in William’s memory to the American Heart Association Lebanon Division, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
