Donald Steven Baryluk

Peacefully but suddenly on Monday, September 7th, 2026, at the age of 74, our beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandpa, papa, gido, nephew, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend Don Baryluk passed away at home.

He was the oldest of 5 children from Bienfait, Saskatchewan and grew up with a large extended family. Don enjoyed working in grocery stores and moved north in 1971 where he worked until his retirement in 2017 as a proud company man. Don found pleasure in time with family, time on the land in the Mackenzie Delta, travelling the world with his wife, cooking and feeding everyone and all the jokes and teasing along the way.

Don is lovingly remembered by his wife Jane; children: Tena, Steven (Cindy) and Janis; his 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also left to cherish his memory are his two sisters, two brothers, five brothers-in-law, seven sisters-in-law, five aunts, three uncles, a very large extended family and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Ebenezer Christian Reform Church, 49245 Range Road 250, Leduc County, Alberta.
