Eugene Thomas Joseph Lachance

October 23, 1916 – August 25, 2015

On August 25, 2015 Eugene Thomas Lachance of Winfield, Alberta passed away at the age of 98 years.

Eugene is survived by 3 sons and four daughters: Gerald (Wendy) Lachance, Gloria (Don) Leonhardt, Don (RoseMarie) Lachance, James Lachance (Teena), Patricia (Gordon) Walters, Marjorie Siegel (Mike), Darlene (Marc) Duggan; 20 grandchildren: Russell (Dayna) Lachance and family, Pauline Kienast (Marc) and family, Leslie (Amy) Leonhardt, Joanne (Eron) Doyle and family, Neil (Bev) Lachance and family, Marlene (Matt) Kelly and family, Tracy (Richard) Schalin and family, Norma Jean Lachance (Don) and family, Bonnie Lachance and family, Michelle Lachance, Jeffrey Lachance (Teagan) and family, Teresa (Mattais) Andersson and family, Angela (Jason) Bauer and family, Valerie Siegel (Joe) and family, Riley Siegel (Jessica), Tyson Siegel, Dwayne (Melanie) Hawryluk, Shane Hawryluk (Jen) and family, Melanie Hawryluk (Andrew).

He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years Margaret; sons Fred and Ken; sons-in-law Don Hawryluk and Darcy Siegel; parents Thomas and Leontine; brothers Eugene, Elie, and Ernest; sisters Florence Jeanson and Yvette Goffinet.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday September 1, 2015 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Thorsby with Father James Banu Bodula SAC as Celebrant.

Interment followed at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Warburg.

Arrangements entrusted to Hainstock & Son Funeral Chapel, Leduc.
