Everett was born March 30,1936 on a farmstead near Simme, Saskatchewan with his six siblings and it was there that his love of farming would be imprinted on him for life. However, he made welding his career and it soon became his passion. From his humble beginnings welding provided a good living for his family and allowed him to express his creativity through design and the creation of tools and equipment. He was a devout Catholic who became a member of the Knights of Columbus at the young age of 18. Spending time with family and friends brought him great joy and they were always a priority in his life. He enjoyed volunteering on committees and giving back to the community.
