George Fritz

George will be sadly and lovingly missed by his beloved wife of 68 years, Erna; his son, Wayne; his granddaughter, Laurie Bouchard (Jacob); his brother, Randy; his sister-in-law, Thelma Fritz; his brother-in-law, William Holzinger (Loretta); his sister-in-law, Lauretta Johnson; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family, including Caroline Thompson (Kevin), Riley and Lee (Phil Thompson), Tyrel Raymond (Melissa), Kendra, and Gator Gatz.

George was predeceased by his parents, John and Magdolina Fritz; his brothers, John, Joe, and Alex; his granddaughter, Keira; and his sisters-in-law, Teresa Fritz and Evelyn Fritz.

George's life was good, and his journey was good. He will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, the friendships he cherished, and the lasting memories he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, August 14th, 2026, in St. Michael Catholic Church, 5105 45a St, Leduc, AB.
