With great sadness we announce the passing of George Schaffer of Leduc, Alberta. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Heather, his children, Paul Schaffer, Cherry (Wayne) Anderson, Joe (Lisa) Schaffer, Laurie Schaffer, Randy Schaffer, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and his sister Shirley Bryks.
George was predeceased by his parents Criss and Dorothy, brothers Bill and Walter, sisters Margaret and Florence.
At George’s request there will be no formal service. In lieu of floral tributes donations will gratefully by accepted to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T6G 1Z2.
