To The Family:
We wish to send our deepest condolences to the entire family. Our hearts are touched by your loss. My mother, Heidi, and I will not be able to attend the service tomorrow. My mother, Heidi, lived next door to your parents until she moved to a senior's residence in 2015. Your father, Gerald, was so kind and helped my mother with keeping the snow cleared from the walks and driveway. They would have many conversations over the fence in the summer. Your Mom and Dad would keep an eye on things when she went away and shared many good laughs as well as recipes and gardening tips. Your Dad was a very helpful and kind man. Thank-you for sharing a part of his life with those around him.
Gerald will live on in our memories.
Sincerely, Heidi and her daughter, Karen

Gerald grew up on a farm beside ours in Napinka Mb and I have known him all my life. In our youth we attended many functions with he and Shirley, who I also knew from my youth. Our families were friends as well as neighbors.
Gerald was always smiling and full of fun, such a good fellow to be around.
I am so sorry for your loss.
