Gladys passed away peacefully on February 21, 2015 at the age of 91 years.
Gladys will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Trudy (Keith) Lauder, Gwen Speed; granddaughters Rhonda (Mark) Kanis and Michelle (Gerard) Tatchell; great-grandchildren Tanner and Carlie Kanis, Drea Tatchell; brother Art (Lil) Schmidek; sister-in-laws Mary Glassman, Rose Jahn, and Ruby Jahn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years Ed, son David, two brothers and one sister.
A Celebration of Gladys’ Life will take place at Leduc Fellowship Church, 4401 Rollyview Road, Leduc on Friday February 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Fellowship & refreshments immediately following the service.
A private family interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2.
