Due to complications from cholangitis, Ivin passed away at the UofA hospital, surrounded by his family on July 25.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sylvia, daughter Brenda (Andy), granddaughter Terra (Jeremy), brother John and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his son Michael in 1984, his parents Steve and Helen, his siblings Alex, Anne, Peter, Rose, Elizabeth, Bill and Nick.
A memorial service will be held on August 8, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Leduc Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation.
