He was born on May 9th, 1955, in Chatham, Ontario but lived in Alberta for many years.
John was a good, caring person with a big heart. Although he had been dealt a rough life with various health problems, he worked to overcome them and always displayed a great sense of humor and would laugh easily, and joke with others. John was handy at making repairs to almost anything. He took responsibility for caring for the house he shared with his aging parents. John loved playing his guitar, building and painting model cars, piecing together puzzles, and listening to his father’s record collection of old country music. He also enjoyed spending time on the water fishing, and loved watching the eagles soar. John also took over the tradition of decorating the house and trees every Christmas.
John was predeceased by his father Leonard and mother Catherine.
John will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his brothers Joseph (Marianne) and James; daughters Candi-Jo and Amanda; sons Jeremy and Christopher; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to an intimate graveside service that will take place at 1:00 pm, on Friday, May 16, 2025, in St. Charles Cemetery, 5408 50a Ave, Warburg, AB.
