Marion Ruth Leithead

A dedicated teacher, farmer, early childhood educator, farm safety advocate and loving wife and mother, she was predeceased by her parents John and Edith Poettcker and brothers Erwin and Arnie Poettcker. She is survived by her husband Thomas William (Bill) and daughters, Dana and Alison.

Per her requests, no service will be held. Instead, we encourage all to honor her memory by traveling, reading books, enriching a child’s mind, befriending strangers, fighting for the underdog and against injustices, being creative and bringing beautiful things into the world for others to enjoy, basking in sunshine and planting pansies every May.
