

She will be lovingly missed by her children: Eugene (Patricia), Gloria (Ken), and Marilyn (Richard)
Her grandchildren: Christopher (Irene), Andrew (Simone), Byron (Sabrina), David (Sara), Jeremy, Darcy (Marney), Grant (Chantel), Lloyd (Noelle), and grandson-in-law Derrick.
Her great-grandchildren: Lucas, Aurora, and Ivy; Evelyn, Bennett, and Nora; Shelby and Garrett; Felicity and Gaige; Bruce and Roy; Maxine; Samuel and Charlotte; and Logan.
Ruth is also survived by her sisters Lil (Eugene) and Shirley (Sal), and her brother-in-law Oscar.
She was predeceased by her husband Alvin, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage, her precious granddaughter Theresa, and her granddaughter-in-law Amanda.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in Peace Lutheran Church, 4606 – 48 Street, Leduc, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Millet.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Mulhurst Lutheran Camp would be greatly appreciated. Ruth was one of the first attendees when the camp opened in 1945. Her children, grandchildren, and now great- grandchildren have all continued her legacy by attending the camp. One of her grandsons even serves as a camp counselor.
