Ruth Evelyn Helgren

Ruth Evelyn Helgren (née Miller) passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, at the age of 93. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband Wallace, and her son-in-law Brian Muir.

Ruth leaves behind a family who cherished her dearly: her children Judy Muir, Randy (Laurie) Helgren, Janice (Ken) Spilak, and Darren (Keri) Helgren.

Grandchildren Kelly (Trish) Muir, Rachel Tassone, Krystin (Corey) Hunley, Erik Helgren, Megan (Brian) Fehr, Stacy (Curtis) Shaw, Kenan Helgren and Roen Helgren. Great-grandchildren Jordyn and Hunter Muir, Ava and Denato Tassone, Nova and Memphis Shaw. Each of them carries memories of her kindness, her steady warmth, and her gentle presence.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Leduc Extendicare for their compassionate care and support over the past few years.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date to honour Ruth and celebrate her life.
