Taylor James Bourque was born December 24, 1990 in Edmonton AB. The first son born to Perry Bourque and Kathryn Paskowski (now Patras), he was a quick learner, as well as an early walker. When he was two, his doctor discovered that Taylor was "tongue tied", which explained why his speech was not developing properly for his age. A lot of the words he wanted to say involved s's which were very hard for him to articulate, so, being the perfectionist he was even at that tender age, he kind of just clammed up. Eventually, an operation was performed on him that allowed his speech to be un-impaired, and boy did he make up for lost time. By the time he was three, Taylor had discovered that the A, B, D's were actually the A, B, C's, and before he started kindergarten, he had a vocabulary second to none his age. He would constantly correct his brother Levi's vocation, and consistently excelled at school. He was introduced to puzzles at an early age, and would routinely put 1000 piece puzzles together in a matter of hours as early as grade three. Everyone knew that we had a special boy in our midst, and the numerous honor certificates that followed were the testimonial.
