We just heard about John. We are so sorry to hear that. He was always such a steady and welcoming presence to all of us "lake kids"!  We will really miss seeing him out there!

Remembering John brings a smile to my face. Probably because he seemed to always be smiling! His sense of humour, his selflessness, his commitment to his community and his love for his family all made him a special man who will be remembered fondly. To Doris and the family, from my family and I, we send our heartfelt condolences and wishes for the fond memories to help you through these difficult times.

My condolences to all of you. He always had time for us for scouts, hockey, camping or whatever was needed for us growing up. He was a great man and helped his community immensely. He will be missed.

Doris and Family please know that we are thinking of you and the kids. We were sorry we were not able to attend John's funeral Brian and I were in Vancouver for some business. John will be missed by everyone who knew him and was a wonderful guy. I am so happy that you both came to see me last summer. Please take care of yourself and keep in touch. Nancy & Brian
