Born September 6, 1999 in Yellowknife, NWT, she lived most of her life in Beaumont, AB. Twyla passed away suddenly on February 25, 2022 in Edmonton, AB. Seldom seen without her pen and notebook, she was a passionate advocate for the dignified treatment of mental health, addiction and homelessness. She loved her music, her cats, and her freedom. A brilliant, beautiful, phenomenally artistic soul, she touched the hearts of many in the various walks of her too short life.
