It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Wendy Joy (Ostrowski) Osmond on the 2nd of May, 2014 at the age of 42. Born in Windsor, Ontario to Richard and Helen Ostrowski, Wendy spent many years in the Calgary area where she graduated from SAIT with a degree in Marketing and Advertising. Most recently she had settled in Calmar with her family.
Wendy leaves behind her best friend and husband Scott Osmond, her children MacKenzie and Dominic, and her stepson Dustin. Also left to mourn her passing are her parents Richard and Helen Ostrowski, her sisters Heather, Victoria and Candace, her parents-in-law Ron and Mary Osmond, her lifelong “bestie” Angie Boyler and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Wendy will be deeply and forever missed. Her laughter, joy and love of life, family and friends was inspirational.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday May 8, 2014 at St. David’s United Church, 4614 – 48 Street, Leduc at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
