Bonnie Sue Lawley, age 80 of Odenville, Alabama, passed away at home on Monday, May 1, 2023. Bonnie was born in Birmingham, Alabama on February 26, 1943. She was preceded in death by her parents, D. C. and Juanita Smith and her son, Michael Rayford. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, John Lawley; sisters, Shirley LaThorpe (Jim) and Betty Pratt (Jim); children, Jeff Rayford (Kerri), Rodney Rayford, Joy Lawley and Jason Lawley; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bonnie was retired after 30+ years at Bradford Health Service. She was also a longtime member of The Joy Sunday School Class at Bethel Baptist Church in Moody, Alabama. The visitation will be at Kilgroe Funeral Home 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, Alabama 35094 on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with the graveside service at Cedar Grove Cemetery to follow at 11:00 AM.
