Brian Marcus

Brian Gregory Marcus , 49 of Moody Alabama passed away unexpectedly on Monday Feb 1, 2021. He was born December3, 1971. Brian was originally from Bessemer but resided in Birmingham at his time of death. Brian was a Culinary graduate and talented Chef who displayed his culinary skills in fine dining and catering around the area. He loved Auburn Football and enjoyed outdoor life to the fullest. He especially loved hiking with the love of his life, Ashley Knight. Brian had a loving and tender heart. His faith in the Lord carried him through many struggles. He attended The Church of the Highlands. He loved spending time with family and making holiday meals a special experience.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert G. Marcus, grandfather Robert A. Marcus, grandmother Dorothy Powell. He is survived by his mother Deborah Warlick and stepfather Lane Warlick, Grandmother Barbara Marcus, Special Uncle Charlie Browning, several aunts and cousins. He also leaves behind his Forever Love Ashley Knight and her son Colby.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday February 9, 1:00 p.m at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery in Bessemer, Alabama. Service conducted by Rev. Rick Hamrick.

Pallbearers: Chris Swinney, Patrick Swinney, John Vagner, Michael Harbison , Colby Thacker, Andrew Leonard.
