Carl served in the Navy in WWII and retired from Connors Steel. He was an active member of his church which he served faithfully. He was known for his great sense of humor and was an avid fisherman and he loved Alabama Football.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nelda Hitt Price, sister, Evelyn Stone (Hasel), sons, Ron Price (Debbie), Steve Price (Laurie) and daughter Karen Hooper (Ken), 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 24, 2014 beginning at 9:30 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Life Celebration will be held at Kilgroe Leeds Chapel on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 11 AM with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, 7500 Roper Road, Trussville, AL 35173.
