Charles L. Crowley

Mr. Crowley served his country with the Army in South Korea and with two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of American Legion, Post 107, for greater than 40 years, serving as commander two times.

He is survived by one daughter, Leanne McWhorter, two sons, Roger and Darrell Crowley, six grandchildren, Dakota Leslie, Micah Redding and Miranda Redding, Ryan Crowley, Jesse Crowley and Justin Crowley, two sisters, Charlotte King and Jean Faust, one brother, Randall Crowley. He is also survived by Sheila Crowley, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially his faithful friends from the American Legion all from the Birmingham Area.

Pallbearers: Friends from American Legion 107, Honorary Pallbearers: Band of Brothers encourager extraordinaire, Bill Pepe.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.

Funeral service will be Monday, September 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with a 2:00 PM Graveside Service at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
